Camp Smith Early Education Website

Parent involvement is an important part of your child's education! You can become involved by: displaying projects that they bring home, asking questions about friends or school activities that they enjoy, and setting aside a special homework or story time. Your child will LOVE sharing with you the knowledge they are gaining at school!

There are three ways to get involved:

1) Large Group Activities - These activities take place on Fridays or Jeffery Family Nights. We will offer opportunities throughout the year for you and your child to attend.

2) Classroom Involvement - Parents can spend time in the classroom as volunteers or be a Room Parent for the class.

3) Parent Visit - Parent/Teacher contact within the home or school. The parents and teacher discuss curriculum, daily schedule, and any questions/concerns happening in the home and/or school. Parent visits take place two times during the school year. The first visit is in September, and the second visits will be scheduled on a Friday in late Spring.
